Welcome to FINGERHUT RECHTSANWÄLTE. Our law firm was founded in 1949 and has its office in Munich.
Profile We advise and represent our clients in court and out of court in all areas of business law. Our clients mainly include German and foreign middle-class companies as well as their owners and decision makers. In addition, we offer a committed debt collection service for large clients, in particular for banks. Our litigation services we are rendering nation-wide.
Personal cooperation We attach great importance to a personal and trustful cooperation with our clients. Every client is cared for by one responsible contact lawyer who can also be reached outside office hours. If necessary, the contact lawyer collaborates with colleagues; however, as a matter of principle, he/she will continue to coordinate all actions related to the client's case (i.e. the case will not simply be transferred to another lawyer).
Experience Each individual lawyer of our firm deals with different tasks from all areas of business law on a daily basis; we try to avoid exclusive specialization and hence limitation of a lawyer's scope of competence to one single field of law. Besides such broad competence, however, every lawyer has particular expertise on one or two of these areas.
International If legal issues have foreign implications, we can rely upon two international networks of business lawyers where our firm is a member. Thus, we can ensure cross-border legal assistance to our clients on a nearly worldwide scale. All our lawyers speak English, some of them other foreign languages as well.
Standard Contract Book Our Standard Contract Book, in which our legal experience is compiled in written form, has meanwhile been published in its twelfth edition (FINGERHUT, Vertrags- und Formularbuch, published by Carl Heymanns Verlag). This book contains contract models from all areas of civil law, including labour (industrial) law, commercial law, company law and intellectual property law. Due to its precise formulations in the examples as well as short, but carefully worded notes, this book often serves as a first, easily comprehensible suggestion for the design of individual contracts.
